Long, strong, curved needles that are suitable for very heavy fabrics or multiple layers of material. Usually used in upholestry work, tying quilts and tufting. The needles curve makes sewing on a flat surface a lot easier. For example, when sewing an upholstered seat where you can only access one side of the fabric.
